International Consulting Associates Pvt Limited (iConsult) has a rich history dating back to the late 1980s when it was established as a distinguished firm of accountants and consultants under the name Anjum Asim Shahid and Co. Over the years, through relentless development and growth, the firm evolved into one of the leading professional services organizations in Pakistan known as Anjum Asim Shahid Rahman (AASR). It gained prominence by associating with the globally recognized Grant Thornton brand, delivering exceptional Audit, Tax, Advisory, and Technology Services to a diverse clientele.

In 2014, as part of a strategic restructuring process, the firm underwent a significant transformation, resulting in the creation of two distinct organizations. Grant Thornton Consulting (Pvt.) Limited assumed responsibility for the entire Advisory and Technology Business, while Grant Thornton Anjum Rahman took charge of the Audit and Tax aspects. This legal separation established two independent entities, each with full ownership rights over its assets, liabilities, income, employees, and professional credentials.

In 2019, Grant Thornton Consulting (Pvt.) Limited embarked on an expansion initiative to broaden its service offerings and strengthen its operational foundation. As a result, the organization rebranded itself as I-Consult and underwent a name change to International Consulting Associates Pvt Limited. This strategic decision enabled iConsult to extend its service portfolio to encompass legal, taxation, and technical services, which were previously constrained by the limitations imposed by the Grant Thornton brand. Today, iConsult stands as a formidable organization, boasting a distinguished experience profile spanning over three decades and encompassing the successful completion of more than 500 assignments.

At present, iConsult is led by a team of five highly accomplished directors/partners who provide visionary leadership to the organization. Complemented by a dedicated staff of over 100 specialists in various fields, iConsult operates from four strategically located offices in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Islamabad. This multi-office setup ensures that our clients receive comprehensive and localized support, meeting their unique needs across the nation.
